Fill & Sign a PDF form
Filling out PDFs and signing them can be done directly from Adobe’s own reader app.
-
If you don’t already have Adobe Reader, it’s available for free from get.adobe.com/reader and can be used with Windows, Mac, and Android operating systems.
-
Get the full Adobe Reader program, not the app.
-
Then use the Tool Edit & Fill Option to place TEXT on the PDF.
-
*Note: Depending on your view and version you will see the Tools menu up top or on the right side Nav top. Click.
-
Then click Fill & Sign. You’ll may also see Edit PDF in menu options. The Edit option will require a paid version of the program but Fill & Sign can also be done in the free reader version.
-
FILL will allow you to type Text when you choose it from the top FILL & SIGN tool bar in the fill & sign mode.
-
The toolbar also has a SIGN button on it up top that will allow you to sign text that looks like a signature rather the typed text of the FILL mode.
-
Works great For adding text in PDFs and forms that have fillable fields can also be filled in with this mode.
